In
2003, Chris Kaelin (raised in the Philadelphia area) ran
into a couple of other Philly guys that moved
to the Panama City area (Jack J. and Nick D.). These blue
collar boys all had a passion for Philly sports, friends,
beer and good food. So, they started a club of "Misplaced
Philly Sports Fans" and named it "Floridadelphian".
Over the next few years the club would meet
weekly for Eagles games at a local sports bar. The Floridadelphian
grew quickly in members and established itself on the web
as one of the biggest Philly sports fan websites in the
country.
It seemed they had everything... (except a
good Cheesesteak!)
With the help of fellow Floridadelphians Ian "Spyder" Jones
and Joey
"Bagadonuts" Martinez, Chris "Fish" Kaelin is able to build his dream.
A
small Philly style neighborhood place with the best cheesesteaks and hoagies
this side
of
South Philly! This is not your ordinary sub shop. Floridadelphia Cheesesteak & Hoagie
Factory is a slice of Philadelphia within the Florida Panhandle. The décor
of famous Philadelphia area people, landmarks and two actual Veteran Stadium
seats transport local Panama City area residents to the City of Brotherly Love
for lunch!
Whether you come to visit for sporting events
viewed on any one of the large flatscreen LCD
TV's, listen to great music, use the free wireless
internet, hang for a beer and a sandwich or you just call in an order for
take out...you'll find that Floridadelphia Cheesesteak & Hoagie Factory
is THE PLACE for AUTHENTIC Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies.
